In an effort to promote interest in chemistry among young women, Iota Sigma Pi has presented 112 female high school students with the “Outstanding Young Women in Chemistry” award. Recipients of the award show high academic achievement in chemistry. The award includes an official certificate issued by Iota Sigma Pi and recognition in the Iotan, the national publication of the Society. Congratulations! Available to all Iota Sigma Pi members, we are now offering travel grants. Please find the application and rubric below as downloadable files. Grant maximum is $500. Deadlines are January 1 and July 1. We anticipate awarding grants to 1 student and 1 professional in each cycle. For this first cycle, deadline is moved to January 15, 2026.
