New Chapter: Neon

On April 24, 2026, Catawba College proudly celebrated the official installation and induction of the Neon Chapter of Iota Sigma Pi, the national honor society for women in chemistry. Held in the Peeler Crystal Lounge, the ceremony marked a significant milestone for the college and its growing community of women pursuing excellence in chemistry and STEM disciplines. The Neon Chapter inducted 16 new members, including six graduating seniors, recognizing their academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to advancing women in chemistry and related fields.
